Global Cycles 101

Description: Global Cycles is the Human Design wisdom body that looks at the larger cycles of evolution. Its wisdom is both cosmic and very practical--particularly at this moment when we find ourselves in the transition between two cycles:  The Cross of Planning will officially end in 2027, when the Cross of the Sleeping Phoenix will take its place.

DreamRave Portal Gates 3 X 3

Description: Fall 2009, the south node slipped into the 62nd Gate of Love, one of the three Portal Gates in the Dream Rave. In the Dream Rave, Gates 19, 12, and 62 are all portal, or trans-special gates. They are part of the Dream Rave Matrix.

Your Story Around the Wheel

Description: Many years ago, Ra Uru Hu mentioned that this was a revealing exercise for anyone who wanted to see their unique story. A few years later Mary Ann began to explore her story using her profile and the Rave I’Ching.  She was in direct contact with Ra about how to do this and had his guidance and feedback via email.

A New Way to Communicate

Description:

Imagine a life where people interacted correctly with each other.  At the root of relationship problems is incorrect communication. Most people tell each other.  They don't wait to be invited. They don't wait for something to respond to. They don't even ask first if the other wants to hear what they have to say.

And it is the Passenger that starts all the trouble – because the mind can only work through the Passenger. When the Passenger believes the Mind – it begins to interfere with all aspects of life.

It is the passenger in the back seat that thinks it can control things - change things. The Passenger actually believes it is driving the vehicle. What ends up happening is a fight between two passengers. It’s not even the drivers fighting – it’s the Passengers in the back seat - each trying to take control – change the way the other is – and get them to do what they want them to do. This is the old way and we already know it doesn’t work.

The Four Types

Description: These lectures are especially helpful for anyone who is going to work as a Human Design professional. This is a deep look at each Type as a very young child and the early conditioning that took place.  When a person comes to you (or you are looking at the charts of your friends and family) – think of that person as a young child.  It is the first seven years of our lives that condition us. It is this that causes all the pain and suffering as we become adults.

Think of that person as a baby coming into the world.  All babies are so cute and so adorable …  but think about how different each one is according to Type.

The adorable little baby Manifestor who has a powerful aura that is closed and repelling.  The ability of even a young toddler who is a Manifestor to be able to do things that will create fear in the parents and ultimately lead to punishment.

The Projector as a child was not born to run around and play all the very physical games with other children. It’s not natural.  All types have had a rough time as children – conditioned away from who they are – but the Projector was the most deeply hurt by feeling that something was wrong with them because they were not full of energy.

With a Generator or Manifesting Generator - from the moment they were born every one has told them that they have to go out there and get what they want – make it happen. They know it doesn’t work – but to stop that is really scary. They’ve got an incredible motor within them – very powerful but they are totally vulnerable. This is what they need to understand. Without waiting to respond – they are not protected in this life.

A Reflector child hides - either alone in their room or behind an energy person. They are like sponges in their environment - soaking it all up. They can end up really getting attached to one parent – who brings a stable aura because everything is always changing. They are different with each person they are with.  This can bewilder them. All of this can be really overwhelming to young Reflectors.

AURA: Living within an Invisible Bubble

Description: Understanding aura can bring clarity to your life. Each type has a very different aura and to understand the differences can help explain so much about your past. It can help you to see how to live in the now, as well as how to move into the future in a way that is correct for you and protects you. Because we live within our own aura – we don’t really know how vulnerable we are or the impact we have on another type. We tend to think that we are all human beings – which we are – but each type is so different that we might as well be aliens that arrived from different planets! Forget the saying that men are from Mars and women are from Venus! The difference of Type is far greater than gender differences.

Global Cycles: Our Changing Times

Description: We cannot live in this world today and not realize that the foundation is crumbling. It is no longer working.  What has created the underlying foundation for our human life is shifting and it is can be truly alarming if one does not understand that this is all part of the bigger program at work. It is not the end of the world.  It is an evolutionary process.  

This lecture explains what is changing and talks about the bigger picture:  The Global Consciousness Program.  This program impacts each of us indirectly. In a sense it is underneath our planetary program.  It is the Global consciousness program that gives us our world themes and becomes the information stream of our evolution.

We are in a cycle right now that began in 1615 – and it began with the 6th line.  It has moved backwards and is now in the 1st line.  Each cycle lasts for over 400 years. And all of that is coming to an end.  All that we have been working on since 1615 as a global theme – as the underlying theme – is coming to an end in 2026.  It doesn’t happen on December 31, 2026 – the shift is happening now.

The Global consciousness program operates through “locks” and “keys” and are rooted in the gates of the Rave I’Ching. The keys that have worked for the past 400 years are all changing. This lecture explains these changes and can help us to understand what has been and what is coming.  Change is not something to fear.  With understanding and being rooted in ourselves, we can witness change rather than be frightened of it.  We can be correct in the world – in spite of all the shifting stand.  The world can change and we will move according to who we are within those changes.  We can remain anchored and aligned within ourselves – even when the world turns upside down.

Stepping Out: Leaving the Homogenized World

Description: Who we think we are is not who we really are.  Our chart shows us the imprint of a perfectly unique human being.  But from the moment we are born, this perfection becomes distorted. We become conditioned and mostly through our open centers.  Generators initiating and doing way too much – depleting their life force. Manifestors trying to be open and available and never finding real peace. Reflectors trying to hold on to anything that can give them a sense of identity. Projectors trying to be like the energy types and paying the price from working too hard and becoming more and more exhausted.

This is the insanity of the world we live in. And this is what each of us step out of when we begin to live our Human Design experiment.  It is this madness that we have lived in and this is the homogenization that we have been conditioned by.  To go against this is not easy. The open centers are deep grooves of conditioned behavior that we cannot easily climb out of.  This is why Strategy is the key.

Profile: Lines 1 – 6 (Complete Set)

Description: Profile is explained line by line according to the 8 role gates as well as the subdivisions that categorize both the conscious and unconscious sides of Profile. Profile: Line 1 - The Investigator

Description: The Investigator is the role for the first line. It is the underlying theme and it is our ability to survive. It tells us what behavior we need in order to survive. The identity behavior of the passenger is to be the Investigator – this is where it must start. The first line passenger must do its research – must study – must do it’s homework. This is the 1/3 and 1/4. The nature of the vehicle itself – the unconscious – is the same attribute of investigation – but here it is not the passenger that will feel insecure – it’s the vehicle itself. This is the 4/1 and the 5/1. If decisions are being made from the mind – the vehicle is going to suffer deeply. The vehicle needs to feel that it is secure before it moves into something. It has to have a secure foundation. This can take time for the form.

Profile: Line 2 - The Hermit

Description: The second line is about Projection. It is the first floor window of the house. The identity behavior of the Passenger is The Hermit. It is projecting something outwards and is not even aware of it.   Being a hermit is its protection as well as the correct behavior until it is called out. This is the 2/4 and 2/5.  The nature of the vehicle itself is also the hermit. Here it is not the passenger that wants to be left alone but the vehicle itself!  It is vehicle that is going to suffer physically from not having the natural talent to do whatever the mind thought it could do. This is the 5/2 and the 6/2.

Profile: Line 3 - The Martyr

Description: All third line beings carry the potential for incredible adaptation to circumstances and the environment.  It is the ceiling of the first floor. The third line mutates through trial and error experience. There is an inherent fragility in the third line as well as instability.  The Martyr is the role for the third line in its interaction with the other and how it influences the other.  What happens to most third line beings – when they are not living by the mechanics of who they are - they end up suffering.  They can feel like a failure – always making mistakes.  Being able to adapt applies to both the Conscious Personality – the Passenger 3/5 and 3/6 as well as the Unconscious Design – the Vehicle 1/3 and 6/3.

Profile: Line 4 - The Opportunist

Description: The fourth line is about Externalization.  It is fixed and focused.  It is the floor of the second story of the house hexagram structure. The fourth line is interaction with the other and how it influences the other.  The identity behavior of the Passenger is to be an opportunist – this is the 4/1 and the 4/6.  For the Nature of the Vehicle itself – the fourth line vehicle has to really be correct in its life because the body itself can suffer – real fatigue can be the result. This is the 1/4 and the 2/4.

Profile: Line 5 - The Heretic

Description: This fifth line is about Universalization. The fifth line is the window on the second floor with the blinds drawn and no one can see in.  The fifth line is always being projected on.  The behavioral identity is The Heretic and it has the powerful quality of being able to call strangers.  This is the 5/1 and 5/2. The nature of the vehicle – here it is the form itself that is anti-social. It is the form itself that is unorthodox and is getting projected on all the time.  This is the 2/5 and the 3/5.

Profile: Line 6 - The Role Model

Description: The sixth line is about transition. It is the roof of the house and is not really a part of it. All sixth lines go through a third line stage in their first 28 years. They are also mutative.  All sixth lines are looking for transition – looking to move to the next stage – the next process – the next place.  The role model is complex and creates a huge pressure for all who carry the sixth line. The identity behavior of the passenger is the Role Model. Here is the psychological pressure to be a role model.  On one side is the example and on the other side is the hypocrite and there is no middle.  This is the 6/2 and 6/3.  For the nature of the vehicle itself – here it is the body that goes through the 3 stages.  It is the body’s health that is affected.  If the mind makes decisions – especially after coming off the roof – the body can get into serious trouble. This is the 3/6 and the 4/6.

Harmony and Polarity: Self and Not-Self of the 64 Gates

Description: Everything is constantly in Movement. In this Movement, all activated Gates within the individual Design, that are not part of a defined channel, have the potential to become the most distortive of all mechanical elements that contribute to the emergence and increasing power of our Not-Self minds. These activated “hanging” Gates play an extraordinarily important role in the way in which we cling to the Not-Self strategies of our open centers every time we try to establish contact with others.

We feel fascinated by the seductive power of the promise of harmony that seems to be coming our way through the open harmonic gate. Everyone looks for balance and awareness in the very same places where they seek to find this harmony, and in this way only manage to develop an addictive dependency for others.

Balance is an internal perception of the holistic awareness, whereas harmony is something that is determined entirely by external conditioning that either binds us to others or wants us to separate from them. Balance grows out of the awareness that everything has its opposite pole, and that the interaction between two opposite poles is the only thing that can provide a comprehensive picture of the world that we can contemplate on.

The mechanics revealed in Human Design make these subtle processes easily recognizable, and explainable, through the simple application of logical rules that make the practical analysis of activated gates in the chart accessible for anyone.

Polarities I

Description: In my own learning curve with Human Design, I have been very fortunate in my Geometry to endure through its many mutations as it grew into what today is an incredibly mature body of knowledge. In comparison, we were very poorly equipped as professionals in the beginning. As a matter of fact, for quite a long period of time the only analytical key besides the capacity to read the Definition in the Body Graph was the Cross of Life. But what an amazing key it was.

In the recognition of this, what I found most fascinating was the seemingly random but in fact deeply dynamic connections established by the Sun / Earth and Nodal Polarities inside the Body Graph. Overtime, I started to notice that those thematic polarities were always there between those two gates, whether one had them activated or not, because those polarities represent a basic mechanical grid upon which all the circuits that exist in the Body Graph are interconnected.

Polarities have never stopped fascinating me, and there is not a single day in which I look at them and do not discover new themes and relationships arising out of each of the 32 hexagram polarities that we find in the wheel. Many years ago I had my first creative attempt as a teacher in Human Design going around all polarities in the wheel and describing them as a sequence to my Spanish students, way before I followed Ra around the wheel in the Global Orchestration Directories Training.

I rarely had a chance to share my understanding about the relationship between the Rave Body Graph and Rave Mandala with the english student group, and I feel this is a course that provides a perfect opportunity to fulfil that purpose. The Language of Cognition

Description: The development of Cognition is the ultimate purpose of the evolution of any form of life. Human Design describes the fundamental differences in the cognitive architecture of a 7 centered and a 9 centered human being which makes the development of our potential for Self-reflected Consciousness deeply accessible and easy to grasp.

This seminar is an introduction to the mechanical aspects involved in the cognitive process of individual awareness, and is an invitation to those who participate in the program to start enjoying the journey of self-observation.

The self-study program is divided into three sessions:

COLOR: Color is the very surface mechanic that regulates the overall frequency of the being through the agency of the Magnetic Monopole. We call it Motivation on the Personality side, and Determination as it operates out of the Design, but the real awakening resides in the recognition of how deeply those two driving forces have been homogenized from the moment of birth.

TONE: Tone represents the very inner structure of the Cognitive Architecture itself. It is the way Tone impacts on the Color in the cognitive chain that will determine the binary of how the Color is going to function, but more than that, it is Tone that determines the deepest potential for uniqueness for both our physical form and our mind.

LEFT / RIGHT: Also known as Variable, it is out of the Color-Tone chain that we can recognize the fundamental differences between the strategic and the receptive mind, between the active and the passive body and between the focused and the peripheral view. In essence, understanding the differences between the Left and the Right orientations of our cognitive process reveals the deep limitations of the 7 centered being, and opens up the possibility of integrating the new cognitive potentials.

The Way of the Projector

Description: As an experiential emotional being with a 1 / 3 profile, I very much like to be able to sustain what I claim to know with what are my own personal observations in an empirical process. I remember the years when Ra was so powerfully insisting on hammering ‘The Way of the Generator’, that it was my Geometry to have a child with a Projector during that time, and obviously my curiosity as an investigator got so deeply absorbed with trying to understand the incredibly deep nuances and differences that make up this most incredible type.

Something like five years ago, I offered ‘The Way of the Projector’ in Spanish, which was a deeply touching process to go through, and last year I did it again in Italy. Now that Ra is emphasizing again the potential transcended contribution of projectors to the development of our nine centered vehicular consciousness, I feel it is the appropriate time to offer this program to the English student group as well.

The focus of the course will be on the potential impact that each of the 22 projected channels can have on the awareness of the transitional form that leads to the mutation of Solar Plexus Consciousness.

Introduction to Holisitic Analysis

Description: Holistic Analysis is unlike anything else in Human Design. As an analytical tool, Human Design reveals the mechanics of the form principle as they operate on the surface, where ignorance and unawareness have taken hold of everything that is considered to be ‘normal’ in the homogenized world that we live in.

What is the Godhead?

Description: I guess there are many ways to describe it. More than another conditioning element, the Godhead is what distracts us away from recognizing how deeply conditioned we are in the perception of our own lives, thus, not only legitimizing conditionings but actually covering it up with a moral patina of rational ‘holiness’.

More than the Not-Self mind, yours or mine, it is the very essence of ‘Not-self-ness’ (read ignorance) that imbues every human mind with an infinite and vane readiness to generalize in the way that it thinks and talks.

It controls the forces that legitimize - with their second hand purpose - the trans-auric mechanics of Pentha and WA and the resulting homogenization of human consciousness. It is, moreover, what gives politicians and priests moral authority to lie to people in their face. And to those who need to continue believing in what they are told, the moral weakness to indulge in their excuses and justifications.

In its despair to maintain control, the Not-Self mind is capable of anything in its search for ‘reasons’, unable to surrender and accept what simply is. Human Design is end knowledge, only this time the end is not about replacing things with something better, but rather learning to accept people and see things for what they are, recognizing the intrinsic beauty of their limitations, the same way we do that with plants, dogs or ants. The Godhead struggles for the betterment of the world, unable to recognize and enjoy its mundane perfection.

A Healthy Look at Existential Fears

Description: Each gate of the Splenic Center describes the awareness of a specific physical and existential fear. If this capacity was meant to be
detrimental to the human life, we would not have survived to this day. For millions of years, this sensory system has been the fundamental intelligence of the body.

Every gate and line of the Splenic Center represents a specific seismograph, with its unique capacity to check the various existential energies which stream through the body, as others impact it from the outside. Therefore every single existential fear can be helpful and healthy or make us feel helpless and sick. The shift from one side of this polarity is our basic equipment for survival. The shift from one polarity to its opposite always affects the way the entire brain works. Description: Every circuit within the bodygraph represents a specific way of processing energy and therefore has its own way to work out its inherent themes as a part of the whole. Seen in a mechanical perspective, every circuit is the ruler of a specific theme in terms of health issues.
